There was a description here but I didn't save it by accident so there's no description now. Anyway, these items are experimental, so try to use them with care. I know the keyword is "try", but it is what it is.
A new low-gravity surface combining bumpers with some clever tricks for better playability. Gives dirty wheels, because it's a dirt... rock... thing. It makes sense I swear.
⚠️ Whenever a version in the (OtherCars) folder is available, you need to use that version of the items for alt-cars to work properly. Transition pieces are fine with all cars.
⚠️ You need to use transition pieces (the ones that don't have the dirty rock texture on them) whenever:
If this is not followed, you might not be able to drive onto the block, or might get yeeted off the block in unexpected ways.
Bumpers in all directions. Upwards, forwards, sideways.
⚠️ The car needs to be parallel to the surface/perpendicular to the gate in order for the bumper force to work properly. This is much more relevant for gates than for platforms, as even a minor change of car's rotation may be disastrous. Be careful and remember to cutproof.
⚠️ Whenever a version in the (OtherCars) folder is available, you need to use that version of the items for alt-cars to work properly.
⚠️ I'm pretty sure that technically the bumper force gets applied every physics tick, so if you're calculating a map make sure getting a tick more force than you're supposed to doesn't ruin the map.
⚠️ Bumper gates don't work under 100 or so speed. Dunno.
No-grip and force-accel gates, and omni-reactor down platforms, in case that's useful for someone.
XertroV for the backbone of this set, including work on custom effect properties and custom gates, and including Editor++ which makes editing these possible at all.
