Updated 2024-06-12 with the smaller (ground) gantry (and a matching pillar set, because I could).

These are my imitations of the gantries that hold signs in the original Snow environment. My gantries accommodate TM2020's official large square (1x1) sign items. I recommend free item mode (press F3 twice or click the third tree icon) for easy placement of gantries and signs.

In addition to recolorable gantries, this set comes with single and dual pillars to heighten the gantries, derived from official blocks in TM2020.

To add these items to your collection, extract the SnowSignGantry folder to \Documents\Trackmania2020\Items.

For the best Original Trilogy appearance, I recommend Pixelperfect's sign skins, which look awesome on these gantries! :D

I also made animated "Warning" and "Wrong Way" overlay skins for 1x1 signs attached to the gantries, which can be downloaded here and extracted to \Documents\Trackmania2020\Skins\Any\Advertisement1x1. (The two SnowWarning overlays are designed to blink alternately when placed together on a gantry. SnowWarning1 is meant for the upper signs and SnowWarning2 is meant for the lower signs.)

"Making of" info:

I got very close to the original shape of the larger gantry, including some subtle angles on the top bar. I achieved these angles by shrinking the top bar and adding an angled shape to either end. I also slightly reduced the height of the bars, which lets the signs attach to the bars without any polygons intersecting. The smaller gantry's top bar gained an additional angle in the center by splitting and mirroring the bar, then lowering the edge on top where the two halves are joined. However, I decided to not apply the slight tilting of the ground gantry's poles to allow for possible stacking or heightening of these gantries. Also, TM1 forced these gantries to be on the ground, but mine can be put on any surface, including roads and platforms!
